Greetings everyone,

I hope this finds you well and finding flow, spark, and nourishment amidst whatever is arising on your path these days.

Recently, I spoke to an astrologer friend and he mentioned we are living in a time of tension, yet also of great possibility.

There are several planets in tension around the world. Whether or not astrology is for you, I like the invitation of tension, how we can partner with the themes, forces, and archetypal influences at play in the larger eco-systems to which we belong.

This month, I am trying a new format for my newsletter. I was inspired by Tim Ferris and James Clear, whose newsletters I enjoy.

A New and Ancient Story

Holding this invitation, I can imagine that the act of really witnessing another person, tree, relationship or eco-system, affirms its belonging and brings us into a deeper relationship with it. 

This quote reminds we that we exist largely through relationship. That until we are seen we are not here in the web of connection that is life. 

WHAT I'M READING:

Systemic Coaching: Delivering Value Beyond the Individual,  
by Peter Hawkin and Eve Turner 

What if coaching could impact the larger eco-systems
to which a person belongs? 

This book looks at the field of coaching so far and raises questions around how it will need to shift to keep up with the challenges of our times, including globalization, AI, and complex multistakeholder partnerships. 

Citing comprehensive research Hawkins and Turner, outline a systemic approach. For those who are familiar with process work, the two are largely resonant with each other.

This book maps the work out clearly in terms of contracting, diagrams and evaluating the impact of coaching within a system. For those who are interested in weaving, facilitation, coaching, and consulting I highly recommend checking it out! 

Being and Vibration - by Joseph Rael and Mary Elizabeth Marlow 

A small yet mighty book that speaks to the native American worldview and seeing the world as vibration. Rael who is of Pueblo and Ute heritage, speaks to how we cut the reality which is timeless into slices that are perceptible to our senses, he reminds us that we are each a part of something much larger than what the dominant culture leads us to believe and offers mythic invitations to connect us back with a greater sense of belonging and wholeness. 

There are only a few spots left in my upcoming class Stealth Alchemy. 
In this class, we will learn to harness the potential within resistance and our critics to move toward our visions and values. 
We will learn some stealthy moves to engage with our critics and the voices that put us down. 

In September Randall Garcia and I are teaching a class on developing or building your brand from a mythic place, Brand, Signal, and Myth.
